Captain Cosmos (Capt Chris Harris)
Capt Chris Harris is an arrogant and impulsive U.S. military pilot. He and his copilot, Capt David Stone, are kidnapped by an alien (Yravta) ship after Harris disobeys orders from his commander by pursuing the alien ship. Harris and Stone are experimented on by alien scientists. The aliens experiment on Stone first, trying to fuse his body with pure energy (the Yravta are trying to find a more efficient way to use pure energy as a weapon). Stone does not survive the experiment. When the Yrvata try the same experiment with Harris and the experiment works. With his new powers he fights off the Yrvata scientists and escapes the ship in an escape pod. Harris is marooned on the desolate planet called Treich in the Alpha-4 system. After a short skirmish with a group of space pirates from the 'Crimson Skull" gang, Harris is received as a hero by the nomadic people of Treich. With the help of his new friends, Harris finds an old abandoned space freighter. Harris and the people of Treich fix up the vessel and Harris leaves Treich to try and find his way home, with only an old map of space trade routes (and no earth).
